Strawberry Hill House Wedding Photography – Peggah & Erik

Wow! What a hot day for last weekends wedding adventure in London. An early start with the bride in Hampstead Heath, then 45 mins drive to Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham. This was my first wedding at this wonderful wedding venue and was nit disappointed; in fact is an amazing and unusual building. The creation of Horace Walpole during the 18th century, Strawberry Hill is internationally known as Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture. The bride Peggah and groom Erik were most stunning and were an absolute pleasure to photograph. After the ceremony guests were served canapés on … Continue reading

Farnham Castle Winter Wedding Photography Reception Of Kim & Steve In Surrey

farnham castle wedding photography

In December we had the pleasure of photographing Kim & Steve. Starting in Odiham where the bride got ready. As you can see from the photos the couple were blessed with a glorious sunny winter’s day. The church in the town of Odiham was All Saints Church. Following the ceremony and what must have been the most amount of confetti I have ever seen on a wedding, off we went to Farham about ½ hour away by car for the reception. Farnham Castle where the wedding reception took place is a beautiful setting for a wedding. We still had some … Continue reading

  1. Paul, it must be amazing to have so many lovely venues for your work. How many wedding photographers in the world get to shoot at cool castles and old roman baths? Certainly not here in the USA. I particularly liked seeing the wedding lanterns at night post and your fabulous black & white personal photos when you went to the coast. This is a very lovely website and blog! Cheers!

Wedding Photography At Botleys Mansion Of Karen & Tristan

We recently had the pleasure of photographing Karen & Tristan at the beautiful Botleys Mansion in Surrey. Weather was looking rather grey on our arrival but it turned to a much brighter day later in the day. I have attended 100s of venues throughout the UK and what I was impressed with at Botleys was the very professional level of service of the staff, they were very helpful and the food came out to all the guests within a few minutes so all got to eat together unlike another recent wedding when the top table had finished their main course … Continue reading

Wedding Photograph At Wotton House

Friday saw us at Wotton House near Dorking for my first wedding there. It certainly has some great features for orchestrated wedding photographs. These is a man made rock feature I spotted and just love the light coming through the whole in the feature. Looking for the light is what creating such photographs is all about and get the light falling on the subject exactly right, normally I am looking to get light in to the eyes as that’s the most important part and then posing the bride so as to give a natural shape.

Kathryn & Simon At Great Fosters 20/05/07

It’s a while since I had the pleasure of being at Great Fosters for a wedding and what a great wedding Kathryn & Simon had. It such a great venue for a wedding, it was to be one of the prettiest country house hotels in the South East. I hope the both Kathryn & Simon had a fantastic day and wish them all the best for the futures together. Feel free any of the guests to comment on the photos.
