On valentines day I went to London to take photos for Sara & Nick’s pre-wedding shoot on the Southbank of the Thames instead of in the studio which is where I usually do the pre-wedding photo shoot. Starting at City Hall and ending opposite the House of Parliament. As so often is the case with shooting in London I got approached outside City Hall by some security guy telling us we shouldn’t be there taking photos. This really gets my goat that we photographers are constantly hounded when we are doing no harm, not causing anyone any inconvenience, yet every time I have taken photos in a city in this country I nearly always get approached. What do you think of this?
The couple were wonderful to photograph and besides that little hiccup we had a great time and I’m really looking forward to their wedding next month in Central London. Here’s a few shots from our afternoon stroll along the Thames. The funny thing is security never stop you if the girl is wearing a wedding dress:)
