Here’s an example of a matted album design I recently did for my own studio sample. Taken athe beautiful Ashdown Park Hotel in East Sussex about 6 miles south of East Grinstead.
Helen & Stuart’s wedding at the popular Dalhousie Castle a few miles outside Edinburgh. Fortunatly the weather wasn’t too bad and it stayed dry most of the time for us to get some outside shots. The happy couple were a pleasure to photograph and we wish them both the very best. Hope you both enjoyed your visit to the Ice Hotel for the honeymoon and din’t get too cold.
Today I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons. Just got in from the wedding and thought I’d have a quick look through at what I’d done. I had a play with this one in Photoshop to see what I coould get out of the image, after a bit of work I came up with this which I really like.
The use of Photoshop plays a big part in a lot of my work to get the finished results people are use to seeing. Here’s a couple of examples of how much a photo can be enhanced with the correct use of this very clever program. As many who have ever had a look in to Photoshop knows, it’s a vast program and takes a long time to really get to grips with. You can never know too much IMO of this program. It’s only as good though as the photographer interpretation as he still has to have the imagination of … Continue reading
The top image is from my wedding yesterday using my video lighting and then photoshop editing. Creating great images at night time is often a challenge but by using video lights opens up a whole new opportunity for stunning images. Doing extended coverages often means being around until after dark making this possible. The second image is from an album I am currently working on. It has had quite a lot of photosop work like many of my images to get this final quality- this one taken in daylight. You don’t images like this straight out the camera but only … Continue reading
Richard & Trisha ‘s 2 day wedding and celebrations at Addington Palace took place last Friday and Saturday and they were blessed with such fantastic weather. It was a beautiful occasion to photograph with so much variety and such wonderful colours. In total we shot around 3000 images and here are just a few from the 2 days we were there. I hope you all enjoy reliving the day through the photographic record we made for you.
Here’s a few photos taken of our beautiful little Tiffany at almost 7 months. She’s an absolute dream to photograph, always full of smiles and putting a smile of many a stranger’s face when we’re out for a walk as she just smiles at everyone. Hopefully these will put a smile on your face too.
What a truly magnificent wedding Kelly & AL organized in Granada, Spain. It was a real pleasure and privilege to be asked to photograph their wedding in such a beautiful city and to such a lovely couple. The whole day went as smooth as clockwork and the evening entertainment was great. I’m sure they are now relaxing in the sun on Capri for a much deserved rest and hope you’re not too exhausted with all the jetting around Europe. I hope you all enjoy the slide show as much as I enjoyed creating these images for you. I welcome any of … Continue reading
It’s a while since I had the pleasure of being at Great Fosters for a wedding and what a great wedding Kathryn & Simon had. It such a great venue for a wedding, it was to be one of the prettiest country house hotels in the South East. I hope the both Kathryn & Simon had a fantastic day and wish them all the best for the futures together. Feel free any of the guests to comment on the photos.
Wedding photography at Buxted Park is always a favorite local venue for me to take pictures at. Heather looked stunning in her fabulous dress which I’m sure Nick was blown away with and what wonderful weather we had after what was rather a wet week. Those Jimmy Choos which most probably didn’t get to see were just the perfect finishing touch. I hope you all enjoy the side show of just a few of the many photos taken on the day. Feel free to make any comments below.
