black & white photography at Dungeness

It’s been a while since I went out just for the fun of it to take some landscapes photos so off I went to the coast at Dungeness. This is quiet a strange place in many ways, it’s like going back in time as it feels like this place hasn’t changed for years. If you fancy a vistit to somewhere quite different I highly recommend it especailly if you like taking photos. I will take another trip there some point as I didn’t have quite enough time as I also wanted to photograph the acoustic mirrors bu these a bit of treck to get to as far as I can tell. If you google that term you’ll see what these objects are. I spent a couple of hours or so wandering the area seeking out photo opportunities and here’s some of my favorites.

wedding photography at The Roman Baths in Bath

From a photographers point if view in many respects to get a booking to shoot a wedding at such an historic beautiful venue and a gorgeous looking couple is a wedding photographers dream. When I first met Nisha & Nick last year at a wedding show at London’s Excel centre I was really excited a soon as they mentioned where their wedding was going to take place. I guess I’m selfish in many ways as I wanted to really be their chosen photographe because I know it would be such an inspiring venue to work at to create some beautiful wedding photographs and hopefully some award winners. Although it’s pretty difficult getting all the tourists to get out the way; with the wedding being August all the kids are on hols as well and a beautiful sunny day meant The Roman Baths were at capacity and queues of people waiting to get in.

wedding photography at Botleys Mansion of Karen & Tristan

We recently had the pleasure of photographing Karen & Tristan at he beautiful Botleys Mansion in Surrey. Weather was looking rather grey on our arrival but it turned to a much brighter day later in the day. Here’s a few from the days coverage. Hope you enjoy.

I have attended 100s of venues throughout the UK and what I was impressed with at Botleys was the very professional level of service of the staff, they were very helpful and the food came out to all the guests within a few minutes so all got to eat together unlike another recent wedding when the top table had finished their main course before some of the tables hadn’t still had their’s served so highly recommend Botleys Mansion to couples who are thinking of having their wedding there.

From a photography point of view it lends itself to some stunning photography in all waeather conditions.
